Dr. Jennifer Lamont earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2006. She graduated at the top of her class and was the recipient of the UCLA Excellence in Restorative Dentistry award. She spent three years working as an associate in private practice in Southern California before relocating to Albuquerque and opening an office of her own. Dr. Lamont started her practice from the ground up with just a few patients and grew from word of mouth and referrals. In 2013, she moved to her location on Barstow Street and has been a part of the neighborhood ever since.

In addition to taking care of patients in her office, Dr. Lamont has also been treating our Service Members for over 10 years. She spends several weekends a year traveling to military bases and armories throughout New Mexico and the U.S., even as far as Guam. Her job is to identify and treat dental issues to ensure that our Service Members do not experience any problems during deployment where access to care may be unavailable. Dr. Lamont also holds a staff dentist position at the New Mexico VA, where she works two days a week with our Veterans.

Dr. Lamont’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her family. Her young son and daughter keep her laughing and very busy! She is also an avid runner. Her favorite local race is Run For The Zoo. Her favorite race of all time is the New York City Marathon, which she trained for and completed in 2022.

Dr. Jennifer Lamont is committed to the continual advancement of knowledge in the dental field and maintaining the highest standard of care. Her pursuit of advanced education led her to find her passion for Integrative dentistry, and the connection between oral health and whole body systemic health. Dr. Lamont holds an active membership with the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health and the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine. Dr. Lamont was recently recognized as one of Albuquerque’s Top Dentists by ABQ The Magazine, and is excited to continue to provide exceptional care for her patients as she has for over 17 years.
